Located within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, this 18-hole golf course offers astonishing views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the breathtaking beach of Cacela Velha, which has recently been awarded one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Set in an area of outstanding Portuguese beauty with no housing developments in sight this course, designed by world renowned Golf Course Architect – Rocky Roquemor wanted to create a challenging golf course but also maintain all the original natural landscape.
Boasting with five lakes around the flat terrain, the two sets of 9 holes contain. One of the most iconic points at Quinta da Ria is the 17th hole, which has a small island on the lake is also now a sanctuary for many endangered rare birds.
