Espiche is located in a nature reserve 5 minutes away from Lagos, has been designed to complement the distinctive Western Algarve landscape by embracing a sustainable and eco-friendly ethos, perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment. The tree lined fairways of Espiche Golf in Lagos are tight yet forgiving, providing a challenging short while the bunkers along the large undulating greens require precise technique. The lakes, streams and indigenous planting scheme work to enrich the local biodiversity, while creating a unique environment for golfers in the Algarve.
Set within unspoilt undulating countryside, the greens and fairways of Espiche Golf course have been carefully placed with indigenous planting throughout creating a beautiful backdrop and some challenging obstacles. Bunkers guard most greens while the greens themselves are large and undulating, demanding a soft hand with the putter.
The overall Espiche Golf experience is one that allows golfers of all levels to push their game on an exciting and sustainable course unlike any other in the Algarve.
The Club House
Opened in May 2014, the Espiche Clubhouse is unlike any other. Architect Nadine Berger's unique and striking design provides terraces and lounges on two levels so you can enjoy the astonishing panoramic views across the entire course and surrounding terrain.
