ONE HOUR OF RIDING

The cost is €50 per person, including insurance, riding clothing, and Portuguese IVA tax @23%

Children from 4 to 8 years old might prefer the Mini Pinetrees Experience (30 minutes = €30p.p.)

The Pinetrees Experience an ideal introduction to riding for first time riders, rusty riders getting back into the saddle or even for groups of mixed abilities who want to ride together. Riders can walk, trot (even the first timers) or do a canter for the more experienced ones. This ride is suitable for riders from 8 to 70 and up to 90kgs maximum weight acceptance.

How to get up on your horse? – No problem, we have a mounting block to make it very easy! The first part, in the arena, helps to build your rapport with the horse, improving the rider´s balance and flow with the horse´s movement thus developing confidence. Basics of control are covered so when the riders begin the ride out they feel much more relaxed and in harmony with their horse.

For the second part you ride directly out into the pinewoods on the nature walk. It is a wonderful way for riders to enjoy the countryside on horseback, on the safety of a lead rein if required. Notice the fragrance of the wild herbs as you pass cork, fig and carob trees. Be on the look-out for azure-winged magpies, hoopoes and the green ocelot lizard.

This one hour ride is very popular and the riders come back with a smile on their faces!
